Sophistication and poise are the two words that I think of most when enjoying this Russian River Valley Chardonnay. The tones are understated and with careful interpretation deliver a new level of appreciation sometimes not found in a Californian Chard. There are bright notes of citrus floral, lemon drop, lime soda and Key lime pie. The barrel toast gives just the right amount of support while maintaining the effort of fine fruit as the front and center focus. The palate is clean and refreshing.
