Conti Costanti Brunello 2001 Magnum
Costanti’s 2001 Brunello di Montalcino, with its pure, cleanly articulated notes of cherries, tobacco and underbrush, is a textbook example of Sangiovese from Montalcino. It shows excellent concentration, great length and nuanced transparency with fine, elegant tannins and a note of warmth from the alcohol on the finish. This outstanding Brunello will benefit from a few years in the cellar, after which it will drink well to at least age twenty. 93 Advocate
