Lakoya Diamond Mountain 2004
The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain exhibits a dense purple color along with a sumptuous perfume of charcoal, black currant liqueur, cedar, and spice box, terrific fruit, an opulent, medium to full-bodied palate, and tremendous purity, glycerin, and texture. While it is the most forward and luscious of this trio, all of the 2004s here reveal the vintage’s flashy, flamboyant style. The Diamond Mountain offering should drink well for 15 or more years.
